The Hierophant is a teacher card that helps remind us to tap into our roots, into our ancestral knowledge. We are all the holders of unique knowledge that comes from our ancestors, the people who came before us & paved the way. For some folks, ancestral knowledge isn’t all warm & happy feels, but is laden with unease & trauma. As holders of this knowledge, we have the ability to alchemize it, to forge our own path ahead & change the course of our lineage.
In thinking about The Hierophant & taking its astrological correspondence of Taurus into consideration, I chose herbs for the blend that are both earthy/grounding, & sensual/soothing. As you sip on this blend, allow the earthen & floral flavors of the herbs to offer loving support as you explore the depths of the knowledge that lives within you. There is always something to learn from the past, whether it is to honor those that came before, OR to allow that knowledge to empower you to make change & forge a new path.
To brew: Place 1-2 Tbsp into 8-10 oz of just boiled water. Steep for 15-20 minutes covered, strain & enjoy.
