Tillandsia Flabellata Air Plant - Witching Houseplants

Tillandsia Flabellata is an air plant with thick, shiny leaves. The leaves range from a deep green to a maroon. This is one of the few species that can actually be planted in a well-draining orchid mix or sphagnum moss (similar to T. Cyanea). They are relatively quick growers and can get as tall as 12 inches. When in bloom, a simple orange to red bloom is produced. 

Think Guatemala native! These are the conditions they thrive in.

Water 1-2 times a week depending on humidity.
